I am a French abstract expressionist, living in Hong Kong for the past thirty years, I did the Art School of Life as an autodidact.

My painting expression is instinctive, especially on the first row of paints. I look for digging out my inner, a sort of exorcism, searching for the deepest real of myself; the second step consists on shaping to my satisfaction the DNA of the whispering piece.

I choose bright warm colors as I am looking for compensating the grey perspectives of this world.

I look for contrast, in color clashing to grab viewers’ attention and tackle their emotion; I want them to wonder and to be transported. My goal is to awaken their senses as most seem to be too busy running after life, forgetting to appreciate simple things such as forms and colors that make life beautiful.

I also like to give textural effects to bring the painting alive, a sort of immobile dynamic. The composition has to vibe with a certain aesthetic and balance.

Abstract painting for me is synonymous to freedom; it has no boundaries no rules. It is a free land of expression that offers viewers a wide angle of interpretation.
